Marcel looked around the bar for Cami Forbes. After handling some business with some vampires outside of Rousseau's he decided to check up on the human. Marcel stopped for some conversations with passerby's and took a seat on an wooden chair near the table. He glanced towards the door at moments during the conversation. The dangers of this town, human beings living here was not exactly the wisest thing. Marcel in his head, he was still king of this place. Marcel could careless at the moment of what Klaus thinks. At least he saved Klaus's daughter to save himself.
Soon he heard the door open, the little bell ringing, and looked around the bar. He didn't turn around to see if it was her but what he smelt was human.

Cami had finished her studies and a long phone conversation with her sister Caroline. She carried her blue backpack through the door also some large books. Cami wore a blue blouse, brown jeans, and some combat boots. Her loose chin length hair was quite wavy and starting to grow past her chin towards her shoulders. Her hands were full and she attempted to grab her black apron from the hook almost dropping some books in the process.

He turned his seat to look towards the door. He saw the blonde Cami and watched her. Cami was one of the only surviving humans in this chaotic town. When it came to New Orleans he still felt obligated to call this town "his town" and still felt like he was the king. Of that thought, many still feared him. Marcel got out of his seat and quickly catched the books when they fell out of her hands and put them on the counter of the table.

Cami both appreciated the help and also didn't want it. She thought she had it. It a town surrounded by vampires, witches, and werewolves, probably other creatures she doesn't have a clue on it made her feel less and less human everyday, "I had it. . . " she muttered, taking off her blue bag off her shoulders, putting it on the counter. She wasn't super women and soon came to the point of saying, "Thanks." She put the apron around her waist. "So the usual drink?" She said while walking behind the counter.

Marcel sat down near the counter,"No problem little Cami." Marcel smiled,"Any new jokes today?" Marcel questioned and watched her hoping to peel out a small smile out of her to clear tension from the twenty or so vamps in the bar. ". . . Or questions?" Marcel didn't mind answering the question but it depended on what she asked. Sometimes even some of the questions he got stumped on himself even in his 210 years of his existence he got stumped on questions he couldn't explain.
He explained to her that some of the stereotypical vampires were outdated and false with the sleeping in coffins and other obnoxious ideas of vampire sparkling were false.

Cami smiled a little, "Nah, not today." She paused while getting a little glass and grabbing some bourbon. "You've answered a lot of my questions. I don't want to bother you with more." Cami put the little glass in font of him. Cami grabbed the stool and took a seat, looking through the book. Cami looked at Marcel,"Do you have questions for me?" Cami looked at the book not expecting a reply.
Her smile widened a little as her blue eyes tilted away away from Marcel and looked at the book.

Marcel pursed his lips and looked at the glass in front of him. He glanced at her every so often. He took a drink of the fluid in the cup. Cami was always so pretty to him pretty was an understatement though. He's startled to call her any names above 'pretty'. The rumors around this town of his so called love for 'blondes' irritated the king. Marcel looked at the title of the book. "You still reading that book?" He bluntly noted and smiled. Marcel lowered his gaze away from the book to her. Cami had those round little kitten blue eyes and her golden locks at least almost shoulder length. She was petite considering everyone here was like giants.
Marcel looked around the room of vampires, werewolves, and witches. The werewolves tended to be friendly to what's left of the human population yet the vampire raged with blood lust seemed to cower and watch until they can attack like lions and their prey. No one would dare to come over here even though that was just his arrogance speaking.
Marcel always thought that him still being powerful as he is was truly something to be scared of but of that he's actually just a wannabe Klaus. Like he'd ever admit that? Never. He looked over at Cami for her response.

Cami looked over at him,"Yep. . . I'm in college remember?" Cami looked around the bar as well as he did. She felt uncomfortable with the gazes of some people. Luckily, her shift was over in about an hour. Cami wiped down some tables after answering the question from Marcel. Cami walked back behind the counter. Though it was nothing Cami felt protected with the counter in front of her. Even though the protection from Marcel never really satisfied her safety. She chatted with Marcel about school and very little on her personal life.

Marcel tapped the glass lightly which he didn't pay attention too. Barely he noticed that the bar was nearly empty. Possibly something going on outside. He got up after she finished her sentence and looked outside the window. Curiously, he watched the group of thirsty vampires mobbed one of the human. The fact that New Orleans new king didn't put a stop to this mob made him roll his eyes.

Cami opened the little door to walk out of the counter space and looked out the window, sighing a bit. "If only. . . " Cami looked down at her fingers, "Nevermind." She shook her head and returned behind the counter. She fixed up everything and put everything away. Cami cleaned some of the glasses and put them away. She grabbed her bag and her books before looking at Marcel,"Why isn't Klaus doing anything about this?" Cami asked holding her backpack in place on her shoulders.

Marcel watched the window while she cleaned up everything. His gaze never leaving the window. Marcel's gaze stopped when she asked him about Klaus. He looked over at her and shrugged, "All I know is Elijah is restoring order and peace." He paused, " After Hayley and Klaus's daughter died." Marcel bluffed, Hope was with her aunt Rebekah. Marcel walked over to the door. "Let me take you home. Things are getting a bit chaotic and wild out there."
Peering through the small shades of the door he opened the door and gave her a charming smile that meant she can't refuse.

"Ah, I see. . . " So this is order in Elijah's terms? And she thought Elijah was better then Klaus. I guess Cami understood what Klaus was going through. She saw a change in Klaus whenever he was around, more well a little less moody and more restraint over his wild anger. She looked between Marcel and the door, nodding a little. "Alrightie." Cami replied and walked outside the door.

He grabbed her arm quickly and walked along side her towards her home,"So . . ." Marcel thought and was trying to think up a question to ask her. "What's your favorite color?" Marcel guessed it was blue considering half the clothes she was wearing was the color blue. Marcel let go of her arm and continued to walk along side of her, looking back slightly to see if there was anyone trailing them.

Cami was still a little tensed with the situation of the pack of vampires behind them. That question always seemed to bother her but soon she smiled a little,"Blue, green, and purple." Cami stated, "Sometimes my favorite color changes depending on my mood." Cami replied, holding her things close to her and glanced up at him before looking back over her shoulder to the others. She wasn't scared of them. What was the point of being scared of them? But she prefered having her neck in tact with her body. "Do you have a favorite color?" She asked, her blue-gray eyes narrowed as she looked at the sidewalk concrete.

Marcel chuckled, " I don't think so." Marcel shrugged a little, he walked on the sidewalk next to her. He put his hands in his pockets and glanced over at her.
(Sorry for short reply)

(It's alright!)
Cami looked over at him and nodded. She looked away quickly. She knew his old fling with Rebekah. Rebekah even warned her about him and his love for girls who were blonde. She may or may not like him but Rebekah seemed sure that she knew. Did Rebekah know something Cami didn't. Cami looked at the sidewalk, her lips close, her eyes a lighter shade of blue.

Marcel stopped her in place and tilted her chin up, he did anxiously look at her neck. Beating heart that he could hear so easily, blood rushing through those veins, and how could he stand not biting in? "You're too beautiful to look down." Marcel said, charmingly. He had known this little fragile girl for almost a year and a half. He had grown fond of her, maybe a little too fond. Marcel pushed a piece of her golden locks away from her face. Finally admitting to himself that he did care for her or like her.
She's gorgeous. What was standing in front was him was Aphrodite herself.

Cami looked up at him when he tilted her head up but the gaze did take her breathe away. Cami was scared. . . Scared of this thing called love that thing that tore everyone in Mystic Falls. That thing that turned her sister Caroline. That repulsive act that changed her family forever. Cami touched his fingers that were on her jawline and pushed them away. Her round blue eyes looked to the side towards her home, "I can get home the rest of the way. Thanks."
